Why are we alive in a time like this?
The EP "Chosen" explores this inquiry. These 5 songs were created virtually during the pandemic, when making music together in person wasn't an option. Through several years of turmoil, my soul brother Galen Silvestri expressed himself sonicly, sending me his creations on a near monthly basis. I composed the words which wanted to be spoken, and sent vocal recordings in return. Galen's wife Nikki Silvestri added her voice to the project, making it a family affair. I'm eager to share the results.

The victimhood of humans is awful deep
If we don't quit consuming, we’ll fall asleep

Liquid that will literally lift enamel off your teeth
Being present to the pain is sobering,
But the lessons I have gained are showing me,
The directions to obtain my own dopamine
From the peaks and the valleys that I go between

We have been chosen, DNA encoded
with the wisdom to survive when the earth is frozen
